Here's a talk, nicely recorded, that I gave on colour and chemistry for the "Big Ideas" course at Bristol at the end of last year. There's a version of this floating on the web that I gave at Michigan something like ten years ago, which cruelly lays bare the ravages of time. For colour junkies, there is another little snippet here for the Atlantic magazine on Newton's spectrum.
