Why chemistry is good for you
This is really just for the record (mine): I have a book review in Chemistry Worldhere. It’s a challenge to get to the nub of a big, multi-author volume in 300 words or so…
"Chemistry is central to several of the Millennium goals adopted by the United Nations in 2000: blah blah blah..."
"That case can risk looking like whitewash or propaganda. It's not an accusation that can be levelled at this sober, responsible book; but one can't help noticing that behind the impressive goals and achievements lie political and social questions..."
