Unnatural events
Seems a timely point to mention that my new book Unnatural is about to appear – it’s officially released at the start of February. I have a forthcoming Opinion piece in New Scientist on the topic (5 Feb issue), and have just recorded an item about it for the Guardian books podcast. I have several talks on this (and other things) coming up in the next few months, and will put a list on my web site.

I bet this book out-sells all your others combined. Best of luck with it.
I'm not necessarily expecting that at all, Jim, but it's nice to have that prediction - thanks. (After Critical Mass I learnt that you can't predict anything in this business.)
